So, I've been drawing for whoever knows how long now, and digital ark is becoming practically a mainstay of art everywhere. I've tried my hand at it and found it to be much different in many aspects as opposed to traditional art. Don't like the color you just used? Just adjust the hue/saturation! Don't like that giant mark you just made? Just press Ctrl+Z! Need some light? Lens flare that shit! Now, I'm not saying digital art is easier in every aspect. If your computer crashes, everything is lost (unless you save frequently). The colors that look really great on your screen might look terrible on someone else's screen. It can be a painstaking process, and how well the strokes look depend on how reliable your hardware is (it's difficult to get good lines if your tablet has a 2 second lag). So, I'm here to feature some underappreciated, extremely well-done traditional pieces of traditional art. I'm going to do three categories: B&W drawings, Color drawings, and scratchboard drawings (I've worked with scratchboards before and they are incredibly difficult to use successfully). Since I am featuring underappreciated pieces, all of the ones I'm featuring will have less than 200 favorites.
